I found Poway Carpets on Yelp and recently went in to get a quote for some carpeting. I had been to a few places prior to compare so kind of knew what I was doing. Met the owner himself Tom who is one of the nicest most genuine guys you'll ever meet. Not only is his store immaculate but he is a sharp dressed man with great style which is so great to see! He was not the cheapest bid I received however his quality of product as well as service stood out big time ! You will always get what you pay for and with Tom you are going to get the best! In fact, he refuses to even carry the lower quality carpeting and flooring because he knows it's just not going to last. His number one priority is making sure his customers are not only happy but that they're happy for a very long time. Now that's integrity folks!! There's a reason that about 20 other carpet/flooring stores have come and gone in the area and Tom's Poway Carpets is still going strong!! Thanks for running a top notch business my man!

Most business I walk into I don't expect to see a sales rep. for 5 to 10 minutes and I hardly ever get to meet the owner. But this place prides itself on personnel device and customer care. Within the first minute I was greeted buy the owner himself (see photo). very nice guy; he knew every thing about flooring types and applications. It great to know we have the local who cares about you and your personnel preferences.

This guy is a really nice guy and yes, you do meet the guy in the ads! We walked in and he spent at least 15 minutes explaining about carpeting and carpet pads. Very low pressure and there was plenty of carpet to look at. I especially appreciated their straightforward pricing scheme, all prices include pad and installation! I took a star off because they only sell Shaw carpets because they have a deal with them and are obviously very biased in favor of that brand. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Shaw makes some great carpets but do your own homework. Nearly everyone has told us that their carpet has the best warranty and that their padding is the best, but that said, shopping at Poway Carpet was a nice experience.
